ABN
Australian Business Number.
ASX
ASX Limited (ABN 98 008 624 691) or the financial market operated by it, as the context requires.
ASX Settlement
ASX Settlement Pty Limited (ABN 49 008 504 532).

Austraclear System
The system for the clearance and settlement of debt securities operated by Austraclear Limited (an ASX subsidiary).
Australian Government Bonds Website
The website located at www.australiangovernmentbonds.gov.au
Australian Office of Financial Management or ‘AOFM’
The Australian Government agency with responsibility for management and administration of Australian Government debt.
Business Day
A day not being a Saturday or Sunday on which banks are open for general banking business in Sydney.
CHESS
The Clearing House Electronic Subregister System operated by ASX Settlement and another ASX subsidiary.
CDI
A CHESS Depositary Interest issued under the ASX Settlement Rules. Further information about CDIs can be obtained on the ASX website.
Commonwealth
Commonwealth of Australia.
Consumer Price Index or ‘CPI’
An economic indicator for inflation. It is constructed to measure changes over time in the general level of prices of consumer goods and services that households acquire, use or pay for consumption. The index aims to measure the change in consumer prices over time. This may be done by measuring the cost of purchasing a fixed basket of consumer goods and services of constant quality and similar characteristics, with the products in the basket being selected to be representative of households’ expenditure during a year or other specified period. Coupon Interest Payments
For Australian Government Bonds, the payments paid or due to be paid on the Coupon Interest Payment Date.
Coupon Interest Payment Date
A date, as specified on the Australian Government Bonds Website, on which Coupon Interest is due to be paid in respect of a specific series of Treasury Bonds or Treasury Indexed Bonds.
Coupon Interest Rate
For Australian Government Bonds, the interest rate (expressed as a percentage per annum), as specified on the Australian Government Bonds Website, payable in respect of a specific series of Australian Government Bonds.
Depositary Nominee
The entity appointed under the ASX Settlement Operating Rules to hold beneficial title to Treasury Bonds or Treasury Indexed Bonds that are, or are to be, held in the form of eTBs or eTIBs. CHESS Depositary Nominees Pty Ltd (ABN 75 071 346 506) has been appointed the Depositary Nominee for eTBs and eTIBs.
Dollars and ‘$’
The lawful currency of Australia.
Exchange-traded Treasury Bond or ‘eTB‘
A CDI issued over Treasury Bonds.
Exchange-traded Treasury Bond Holder or ‘eTB Holder’
In respect of any eTB, the person whose name from time to time is entered into the Register as the holder of that eTB.
Exchange-traded Treasury Indexed Bond or ‘eTIB’
A CDI issued over Treasury Indexed Bonds.
Exchange-traded Treasury Indexed Bond Holder or ‘eTIB Holder’
In respect of any eTIB, the person whose name from time to time is entered into the Register as the holder of that eTIB.
Face Value
For Treasury Bonds and eTBs, Face Value means the principal or par value on which Coupon Interest Payments are calculated. For Treasury Indexed Bonds and eTIBs, Face Value means the principal, capital value or par value unadjusted for changes in the CPI.
Investor Communications
1 January 2025 communications in relation to Exchange-Traded Australian Government Bonds (eAGB) will generally be provided in digital format. Documents, notices and other communications relating to your eAGB investments will be available through the Investor Centre provided by the Registrar, Computershare. Investors will be notified by email when new information is released.
Maturity Date
The date on which the Australian Government Bond is to be repaid.
Nominal Value
The CPI-adjusted capital value of a Treasury Indexed Bond or eTIB on which Coupon Interest Payments are calculated.

Real Yield To Maturity or ‘Real Yield’
The rate of return on a Treasury Indexed Bond (expressed as an annual rate) above the rate of inflation if purchased at the current market price and held until the Maturity Date. The calculation of the real yield assumes all Coupon Interest Payments are reinvested at the same real rate.
Record Date
The close of business on the eighth day before the relevant Coupon Interest Payment Date or Maturity Date or, if this is not a Business Day, the preceding Business Day.
Register
The registry for eTBs and eTIBs and “registered” has a corresponding meaning.
Registry
Computershare Investor Services Pty Limited (ACN 078 279 277) or such other person appointed by the Commonwealth to maintain a Register in respect of eTBs and eTIBs and perform such payment and other duties specified in that agreement.
Term Sheet
An information statement, which can be obtained at the Australian Government Bonds Website, which contains details of the Coupon Interest Rate, Coupon Interest Payment Dates, Maturity Date and other information for a specific series of Treasury Bonds or Treasury Indexed Bonds.
Yield To Maturity or ‘Yield’
The rate of return on a bond (expressed as an annual rate) if purchased at the current market price and held until the Maturity Date. The calculation of the yield assumes all Coupon Interest Payments are reinvested at the same rate.
